Useful details. Clear sources.

The directory began with imported public venue information. Those records have not all been individually reverified. Where we check a venue website, its listing names the source, date and specific details checked. A verified menu link does not mean that every other field is current.

Software groups listings, calculates distances, checks links and flags links that need attention. We use automation to prepare material, but checked prices and factual updates need a source and review before publication. We do not invent dishes, visits, quotations or opening hours to fill gaps.

Our venue notes combine source checks with our own practical comparisons. They are desk research, assisted by software, and are not presented as visits or scored reviews. Each researched profile links its evidence. We look for themes repeated in the guest comments we can read, distinguish isolated opinions, and explain the sample’s age and limitations. Some Google comments are accessible through third-party review directories; we identify that intermediary rather than implying access to the complete or latest Google review history. We also identify other review platforms separately. We do not copy reviews, invent quotations or calculate a new rating from a selected sample.

A guide’s edited date records a change to that guide. It does not reset the age of all underlying venue information. Source dates on individual listings apply only to the facts named in the accompanying note. Missing opening hours are shown as unconfirmed.

Checked schedules link to their source and the date we read it. This is not a claim that the venue updated its website that day. We keep split sessions, overnight opening and last food orders separate. A bar staying open does not mean its kitchen is serving. Where sources conflict or give only part of a schedule, we show the limitation and do not invent an open-now interval. Public holidays can differ. Our scheduled link checks also cover these sources; successful links still need factual review.

Confirmed closures are removed from browsing, guides and recommendations. We keep a venue’s existing page with a dated, sourced closure notice and nearby alternatives, so older search results do not send people to a closed business. The archived page no longer offers menus, directions or opening-hours claims for that venue.

Venue photos, when available, are requested through Google’s official Places API and displayed with source and author credits. We do not save copies. Editorial illustrations are used for general guides and are not presented as photographs of a venue.

Paid homepage placements are labelled and kept separate from ordinary results. Businesses can request a basic listing or correction without paying. Advertising is not a recommendation or a guarantee of quality.
